SNMPD on Linux Debian, only binding to localhost

If you need to change the listen address for snmpd, then modify /etc/default/snmpd for Debian Linux.

Now remove 127.0.0.1 from:
SNMPDOPTS=’-Lsd -Lf /dev/null -u snmp -I -smux -p /var/run/snmpd.pid 127.0.0.1′
and add your IP or leave blank for listen on 0.0.0.0

Example:
SNMPDOPTS=’-Lsd -Lf /dev/null -u snmp -I -smux -p /var/run/snmpd.pid 192.168.1.22′

Ubuntu is slightly different on some versions, check the config files.
